Poly-filter

Is this good for planted tanks? Or will it remove what ever fertilizer additives I put into my planted tanks?! Thanks

It will remove everything pretty much. Not a good thing except in emergencies where you suspect a poisoning or really high ammonia where you canít change enough water to get it removed from tank fast enough.

In my opinion for this hobby, the best filtration is sponge filters, run by air, powerhead, HOB, or canister.

I understand the use of those types of filtration but I wanted to add this particular brand into my filters like purigen. Thanks
