Silicone (Si)

I have been reading how hydroponic growers use potassium silicate to help plant growth. https://hydrobuilder.com/learn/silic...-deficiencies/ I know it is not needed for plants to grow however when it is available plant growth is more robust. I am wondering for us RO + inert substrate users if it will be beneficial? If using tap water and or dirt substrate then probably not.
Well I am going to try some maybe someone can double check my math. The solution is 2% SiO2 so that's 20,000 ppm per 1ml. To get 1 ppm in 51 gal. 51 gal = 193056 ml so 10ml into 51 gal = 1ppm.
