I have a 30 gallon (100l) planted tank, with monte carlo, anubias nana, sagittaria subulata, staurogyne repens, xmas moss and added some bacopa today. In terms of fish, I have a small colony of red cherry shrimp, 2 siamese algae eaters, and 9 neon tetras.
I have my lights on for 8 hours a day, and I use co2 injection with a pressurized system, at around 4 bubbles per second. I dose Tropica Plant Growth Specialized, and I think my monte carlo carpet is not growing that well or quick as I would like (mostly monte carlo, sagittaria is growing crazy).
I was asking myself if I should dose 1 pump per day or continue to dose 5 pumps per week after the water change (the recommended by tropica is 5 pumps per week for a 30g tank). Also, should I increase my lights to 9 hours a day?
