So my first time around doing my own fertilizers. As per NilocG recipe I added 12 1/4 teaspoons into 500ml (assuming I interpreted them correctly). Iíve hand shaken it for two days. Finally broke down and got a magnetic stirrer. Spun it for two hours. Still canít get it all into aqueous soln. Then diluted by adding 50 ml and heating to around 150ish degrees (hot to the touch). Still chunky on the bottom though.

I had to have. RotalaButterfly is calling for less than three tbsp. Iím lost I supposed. Well whatever supersaturated slurry I dumped into my tank my plants are taking a liking to. Iím lost

you may have to go for lower concentration, and more pumps per application. i used to have trouble getting liquid ferts to fully dissolve too. so i switched back to dumping dry into the tank. works fine.

Yeah I might halve the scoops and double the volume dumped. I just had thought 12 tsp seemed way high....

That's another benefit of dosing dry; most of the EI guides are written in tsps so there is one less step for me to mess up!
