When to dose ferts with new Aquasoil Light?

I started a mini m tank and used some Aquasoil Light. It is planted with fairly slow growing plants (crypts, Marsilea, mosses). I am using co2 and the light is a bootleg aquasky that I have mounted around 8" above the water line. There is a dimmer on it which I have set at 40% so I would guess I'm in the mid-low level of lighting. The tank has been running for a couple weeks now and the only algae I'm getting is the usual brown diatoms.

When should I start adding ferts? I'll probably use PPS since that is what I'm using on a similar planted tank. Although that tank has normal Aquasoil, not Light. I've read some people only dose K at first due to Aquasoil having high N. I just have never used AS Light so looking for some advice.

It is the same stuff, just smaller size particles.

I'm using the normal size Amazonia Light. It just has less nutrients than regular Amazonia.

The ADA website is a wealth of knowledge in keeping a mature aquarium.

Would start dosing ferts right away to keep your water column rich with plant food.
