need help with my co2

I am injecting co2 in my planted 60 gallon tank. I am using a GLA regulator and a Milwaukie PH controller wich I calibrated with 7.1 calibration fluid. I dont think my tank is completely degassing the co2 overnight. i just started back with the co2 about 2 weeks ago , after a complete tear down and new setup , and my PH was at 7.6. The morning ph level is slowly dropping every few days. It was at 7.3 when I turned it on this morning. I have been doing a 1.0 drop in ph. But , do I drop from the original 7.6 or the now 7.3.

Co2 normally won't degas completely overnight. So it will always show lower in the morning than what the actual degassed ph of the tank is. So I would continue to base the drop on the original 7.6. That said, the ph of the tank can slowly change over time. So it is a good idea to check the degassed ph of your tank water periodically. To do this take a cup of tank water and let it sit out for a couple of days and then measure it. Alternatively you could put an air bubbler in the cup and it will off gas completely in 24 hours.
