If I remember correctly, Ammonium is the bound form of ammonia which is not harmful to fish. When you dose a water conditioner like Seachem Prime, it will bind all of the ammonia into ammonium to protect the fish. If you are worried about it, just do a big water change, and put in some water conditioner. Your fish should be fine regardless.

Seachem nitrogen doesn't have amonium in it. It does however have Urea. Urea will break down to ammonia in the tank and then can convert to ammonium. I have used this product and never saw ammonia. You must have overdosed by quite a lot.
