Iron level question.

According to the professional water test I needed to have performed before we could move into our house showed that the iron level was 0.66 ppm. I am in the process of setting up my aquarium and need some advice as to what to do about this level. I have an RO unit I could use although, I would like to keep it simple and easy if possible. My other parameters are as follows:
GH is 5 and KH is 3, Ca = 80 ppm. I calculated my Mg at 26.9 ppm NO3 2 ppm. pH is 7.7 after aerating the well water.

Is there any type of filtration that can take the Iron out?

Hi @Liquidgarden,

I'm not sure you will need to do a lot about the iron in your water or not. Iron in well water can be in several different forms but the two most common ones are ferric iron and ferrous iron. If ferric iron with a pH of 7.7 it is likely a lot of that iron will be unavailable to plants however if you opt to go 'high tech' and use CO2 in the tank that may change. If the water in your well contains ferrous iron that is available to plants. Tom Barr, one of the 'gurus' of our hobby has run aquariums up to 1.0 ppm and higher without issues. I suggest starting by using your water without any alteration and see how your plants grow.
