EI daily dosing Fe - Rotala Butterfly

So Iím going to try changing up my dosing regimen, switching to dry fertilizers rather than all in one liquid.

Was doing some calculations with Rotala Butterfly and Iím going to try front loading macros and doing daily EI for micros.

RB wants me to target .1 ppm of Fe daily using CSM+B but my off gassed pH is 7.4 so Iíll be using DTPA Fe along with the micros.

My biggest question is would it be (generally) safe to dose .2 ppm of Fe daily? This would equate to about 1.2 ppm total weekly. It seems like not a whole lot to me but you never know.

Thank you for the input! Have you noticed any adverse effect on livestock?

Hi @varanidguy,

No issues with any fish (I don't keep shrimp) including the more sensitive species like Cardinal Tetras, German Blue Rams, corydoras, and Apistogrammas.

Fantastic. I keep inverts in the display tank but theyíre all generally hardy species. The most sensitive would probably be CPOís but the current dosing regimen contains copper as well so I donít think the CSM+B should effect them.
