Anyone DIY CSM+B or use a DRY stock copper free micros?

I know plants and inverts need copper and ferts on the market have safe amounts, etc., and don't really want to argue about that, please. So that completely aside, does anyone buy individual trace/micro nutrients and mix up your own custom CSM+B? Or use a DRY micro mix that doesn't have copper in it? I've Googled this to no end without finding what I'm looking for.

I know you can buy solutions of copper free micros, but I'm not willing to spend those prices on mostly water when I can buy/use dry stock and mix up my own.

Not trying to sound like I'm being testy about it, I'm just trying to be very clear about what I'm looking for. I've posted in some other places and instead of sticking to what I'm looking for, I keep getting people discussing how ferts have small amounts that are safe and people are successful with their copper fertilizers. Which is great, but unfortunately not what I'm asking.

You can find the ingredients for diy micro ferts on the sale forum here

https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/1...ore-stuff.html

All you gotta do is not use the Cu

Here's a 75 page thread with folks discussing how to do it.

As I said on barr report, there are no premixed, dry csm-b type products that dont have copper. For that you'll have to buy aquarium brand shrimp specific products
Greggz and Immortal1 like this.

Thanks! I didn't see that reply or forgot already.

This is so odd, could have sworn I saw the sale section this morning when I was on a laptop but now on my phone, I can't find it. Only the WTB/ROAK part.

Do those micro levels of copper really kill shrimp? I thought it wouldn't be an issue but now I'm worried.

FWIW most shrimp specific products seem to be geared towards the more sensitive species, insofar as ferts without copper and the like. If you’re doing neocaridina I don’t think the trace amount of copper would be a problem (it doesn’t seem to hurt my CPO’s and they’re probably the same difficulty as neo’s).

Off the top of my head, NilocG does make an all in one version of his fertilizer that’s shrimp specific without copper in it.

It makes me wonder, if your house has copper plumbing, would it even be necessary to have it in your fertilizer?
