Dry ferts is the least on the pocket, under $20 for EI package @ NilocG.com
A small scale under $20 from "The Bay"

All 6 bottles 250ml from Seachem around $48 ???

You came make up EI bottles from recipe @ NilocG.com
Depending on plant mass you may just not need the full EI dose per week.

Growing is not that difficult.

You could also use NilocG liquid product "Thrive" and just pump in the required dose 1, 2, or 3 times per week depending on your setup and do a 50% water change end of week. I suspect many would agree this is better than the Seachem dosing of all the individual products.

I'm new as well to planted so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
