In need of some fertilizer advice

Hi all, I am just getting to the hobby and finished setting up my tank a few days ago. Right now my plants are looking a little bit sorry and I'm hoping they bounce back as they acclimate, but with no fish in the tank or anything, I'm not sure they're getting the nutrients they need. I have root tabs and am doing flourish comprehensive, but they dont have the macros I'm looking for. Any advice for good fertilizers and maybe liquid vs dry ferts? Thanks!

Dry will save you money, if you don't mind mixing your own: https://rotalabutterfly.com/nutrient-calculator.php.

I get fertilizers from here: Aquarium Fertilizer | NilocG Aquatics

That is a good site for ferts. You can get them based on how high or low tech your tank.

Even if you buy the dry ferts, you can still make a solution if you prefer liquid dosing with the calculator that was mentioned. This is the most economical route, especially if the tank is large.

Thanks for the input! I was planning on getting this http://nilocg.com/ei-based-npk-csm-b/ fertilizer package. Does this seem balanced enough for a 15 gallon medium planted aquarium?

You are all set and that should last you ~ a year on a 15g.

The only other thing to consider is GH Booster but you only need it if your water is very soft (kH < 3).
