Extremely high GH. Tap water is super hard

I am wondering if I should be woring about my water parameters in my 12 gallon planted aquarium.
aquarium: Nitrites 0, Amonia 0 PH high 7's, Nitrates 80+. bought the KPI GH and KH test kit but not really sure how to read it but the KH took 7 drops to turn to turn yellow and GH 25 drops to turn green.

Tap water KH was 7 drops and GH 16 drops - amonia 0, no chlorine and PH 7.5 ish

What is your substrate, do you have rocks in the tank, are you dosing something that raises gh? Also how frequently are you changing water?

What are you planning to keep in the tank? Some species love hard water so you wouldn't necessarily need to do anything to your water parameters. It just depends on what plants and creatures you intend to keep.

Also, are those parameters for the tank water stable? Meaning once it hits 7 drops for KH and 25 for GH, does it stay there? And the pH?
