Hi @Dracer1661,

I'm guessing you have only been dosing the Thrive for a week or two?

Hi Dacer1661,

Because I can tell by the second picture. Do you see how the new growth of the stem plant of the right is healthy and green, that is the plant responding to better nutrient availability. So I have some good news and some bad news.....the good news is that your plants will likely recover and do much better as long as you provide sufficient nutrients......the bad news is the existing leaves will not improve and will continue to look basically the same. It if were me I would wait until the stem plant has 4" or so of new growth then cut off the new growth and plant it, dispose of the old stems. The Microsorum (Java Fern) grows much more slowly then stem plants but you should start seeing a new leaf every week or so. Once you have several new leaves trim off the old leaves that are damaged.

Hope this helps!

Yes thank you that does help. Is there anything else I should add to my fertz maybe or just stick with the thrive. I still have a lot to learn with this whole fertilizer thing

Hi @Drancer1661,

If you are new start slow; just continue dosing as you have been for a few weeks and see how the plants respond. You may have to 'tweak' your dosing later but it is too early to tell.

Thank you. This is my third go on fertz I was useing seachems flourish and iron. And I tried API leaf zone. Before I knew that either one wasn't complete. I have looked at el and some other methods that have been posted here I just don't have a good enough understanding of them.
