Hello, I have been using green leaf aquariums PPS pro fertilizer for a little under 3 months now. I just ran out of the bottle 1 mixture which has this mixture:
K2SO4 – 29.3 grams
KNO3 – 32.6 grams
KH2PO4 – 2.9 grams
MgSO4 – 20.2 grams
The entire time I have been dosing 10ml per day of this. The 2nd bottle contains:
Plantex CSM+B – 28.6 grams.
I’ve been dosing 5 drops per day of this. I have a 50 gallon tank with 2 current led plus pros and a pressurized co2 system. Now that I ran out of bottle one I was looking at the directions again. For bottle 1 it says for low light use .5 ml per 10 gallons. medium light use 1 ml per 10 gallons and for high light use 2ml per 10 gallons. For bottle 2, low light use 1 drop per 10 gallons. Medium light use 2 drops per 10 gallons. For high light use 4 drops per 10 gallons. So since I used the amounts for high light for bottle 1 and did low light for bottle 2 what effects did this have on my aquarium? And does anyone have a suggestion on what light level i should be using? I think I should be either medium or high lighting. Some areas of the tank have less lighting due to the plants growing at the top and blocking the light. My main goal is to get a carpet of baby tears so that’s what I’m aiming for. I feel like a complete jackass for doing this. Don’t know what I was thinking.
