Tropica specialized is a good fertilizer, many people have had great success with it. Even though I am the maker of Thrive I will not suggest it, haha.

Great ferts. Works good for my tanks. I would dose more than recommended on the bottle. Depending on plantmass but a good average is 5ML per 100L a day.

Lol, I always wanted to try Nilcog but the shipping from AngelFins is 27$ plus the price for the bottle.

You can dose every week but it is better to dose every day. Better spread for plants.

for a 10 gallon I recommend around 1,5 pump a day.
Can try less just look at the plants.

My 34 gallon with low plantmass did fine with 2 pumps a day but now with 4 pumps a day the plants grow much faster / better.

Hmm I don't know if I have time for the dosing. Can I dose 4 hours before the lights come on? I may start with 1 ml of frets and start from there.

Time of day isn't that important.
Many people dose before work and have lights come on later in the day when they are home and can view the tank.
I used to dose at the end of the day when I worked late.

Hey instead of dosing everyday can I dose every day after? I'll dose about 2x the amount of a one day dose

Yes thats still better than once a week. But try to do it everyday when you wake up. It takes only like 5 seconds
