dry dosing--boy do I feel dumb

Thought I'd share just in case I wasn't the only one who's a little slow.

I've been looking at Chuck's online calculator and being frustrated at the liquid dosing instructions. I had no clue that the downloadable version has an option for dry dosing. I've been adding 1/32 (.03 tsp) of nitrate a week and being happy to see my plants have sucked it all up when I recheck a week later. Lol--the poor things have been starving.

You can also get dry dosing levels from the online version if you put in 1mL for the amount of water you mix into, and 1mL for the amount of solution you dose. Obviiously you can't dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of powder in 1mL of water, but you're not really making a stock solution.
