starting new 75 gallon

So I am about to set up my new 75 black water tank and I have a question. I have a 20 gallon high that is set up now and all plants and fish will be going into the 75. My question is if I use all the water from the 20g into the 75 can I put the fish right in ? Or should I let it cycle with some of the water from the 20 then later add fish .

Water is not relevant, bacteria are on surfaces. If you move the filter over or at least all the media from your filter (put in your new filter) and your plants, you will probably be fine, but I would plan on monitoring ammonia and nitrite every day for 2 weeks just to be sure and doing WC as required. You may have a mini cycle for a couple days.

If you have and use the bio media in your current filter and move that over it will for sure speed up the cycle. Water will do about nothing. 90% of your BB will be in your filter.
