Calculating referance solution in drop checkers?

Was googling around to find a way to calculate and didn't really find anything. Say if I wanted to use 3.24 dKH solution (random number), at what ppm of Co2 would that turn yellow compared to a 4 dKH solution?

I found that Wet's calculator did this, but the site doesn't work anymore sadly. Anyone know the calculation formula?
Have 4 DC so I thought I try some different solutions, to get a more accurate picture.

Essentially, this can be found using the CO2/pH/kH relationship, and knowing the pH range in which bromothymol blue changes colour.

From the first image, we'll start by using the normal 4 dkH reference solution, and then looking for the ideal CO2 level (around 30 ppm of CO2). We see that at a pH of 6.6, 30.1 ppm of CO2 is reached.

Now, looking at the bromothymol blue image:

We can see that at a pH of 6.6, it is (roughly) the shade of green that we normally look for.

This is how you can check your CO2 levels. In your case, if we assume a random kH (say 3 kH, since there is no 3.24 in the chart ), we can see that when the bromothymol blue indicator is green (around pH 6.6), then the CO2 is approximately 22.6 ppm

You might find these 2 threads useful and a good reason to use 2 drop checkers instead of the usual 1.

Weird, somehow the thread didn't prompt the notification system. Thought I got no answers.

Thanks, this is exactly the info I needed
