Any LFS in SF/Bay Area that will do comprehensive water tests on a sample?

I'm just wondering if I can take a sample of my water into a LFS and (whether free or for a fee) have them test different parameters (specifically TDS and copper). I can do all the general tests (pH, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, gH, kH) and my water sits in a nice range for my shrimp but I am still getting deaths too frequently and want to be able to rule out the water without having to purchase specialized equipment...for now.

Thanks!

You can try and contact @PortalMasteryRy as he has the equipment to test a lot of elements including copper.

Might still be worth investing in an inexpensive TDS pen for $20 or so. If really wanted to and live in the city I could test a TDS sample for you.

You can also try Aqua Forest in SF. I know they do some water testing for customers.

I'll definitely check it out, I always drop by when I'm in the area to ogle their wares. Next time I'll just bring some water.
Darrel and Darrel like this.
