Help devising a fert regiment for a new set up

I recently switched my high tech setup to a biotope. I will have a much lower plant mass and easier plants such as val, swords, floaters and moss. I will be running pressurized co2 but at a much lower rate than the previous setup. So I need to figure out dosing for the tank. Should I dose maybe a 1/4 of EI and only dose twice a week maybe? Or something like 1/2 EI once at the beginning of the week. Also I won't be doing 50% water changes like I used to in order to not deplete the tannins in the water column.

I'm also not opposed to getting in all in one fert like Thrive, but I have the dry ferts on hand.

Just a noob

Your suggestion of 1/2 EI only once a week sounds reasonable, it also makes it simpler
I'd be most wary of micros accumulating though since you don't plan to water change often, due to this i'd lower the micro dose even further, try a really small amount and see how the plants respond
Your floaters will be your main nutrient indicators, use them to determine any deficiencies

I think 1/2 EI levels once a week will be fine to start and then adjust as you go.

How would you recommend dosing schedule wise? WC on Sunday dose 1/2 EI macros and just follow up the next day with the weekly amount of micros, sound about right?

You might want to start out at 1/2 EI but another option is to go with PPS Pro and then adjust according to what your tank/plants need. It sounds like the plant biomass won't be changing that rapidly so you will probably be able to dial in what you need and keep it there on a consistent basis. PPS Pro takes more testing (initially) but it works great. Once you have it figured out you don't have to go bonkers with water changes because you don't need to reset the water column.
