Exclamation What should be in my filter?

I have an AC 50 on my 20 gl. It has the course sponge, carbon pack, and those white ring things...ceramics? What should be in there as i've read posts saying to take out the carbon...

I run just sponges in my AC filters. Most people don't run AC on planted tanks as it can/will remove trace elements.

Take out the carbon which will remove some nutrients and replace it with floss, floss will catch fine debris. Everthing else you have is needed.
