Using the eheim oxygen diffuser for co2

Saw this on dr foster

Eheim Accessories

Wondered about using it for co2 instead of oxygen...right now I have my co2 going through a inline diffuser on my 2215..but was wondering if this would do a better job of pushing it through out the tank..any one use this before or tried it?? Think it would make a lot of noise as in a whooshing sound?? Want to try some thing new as I feel the inline diffuser on my output line and slows down the water pressure and makes my pump run a little hard to push it up the tank..as I also have a inline UV on my input line on the same filter as I know that's slowing down the pressure some too..

I have $50 cert for dr foster and have no clue what to buy since I placed a big order of every thing I already need to get the $50 cert..

I don't see why not. But you using an inline diffuser you probably won't get better efficiency. I suggest you look into a cerges reactor build if your having any issues at all. Sera 1000 is a good reactor if you don't want to build. Since you have a $50 cert, you can definitely try it out but it won't do better than your inline. Should not hinder your flow at all too (the inline)

You know, I just so happen to have an extra Sera 1000. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Very good reactor, I just decided to go with a glass Elos in-tank reactor instead on an external plastic Sera reactor.

If you used it in combination with an inline diffuser first, I bet it would be even more efficient. It's already very efficient, though.
