Seachem Ammonia Alert
Good Morning Everyone,
Can someone please let me know if they ever used these? Are they worth using?

I tried it. Hard to know if it was useful as I never had an ammonia spike. I didn't end up replacing it when it expired.

I put one in my tank when I set it up as a daily safeguard, it never showed a bit of change when it had the initial ammonia spike of 0.2. I replaced it, I checked it with my chemical kit every day and it never registered. Maybe works for others.

I bought this and installed it in my 23 gallon cycling tank. It’s been 24 hours and it has only slightly changed colour from light yellow to light green. Don’t know if you have to go by such subtle shade changes which are not even conspicuous . I read somewhere these kits take 2-3 days to start showing correct reading.....still waiting ....if anybody can please throw some light....
