Plants start dying, GH too high

My plants are dying, I ask a guy in Local fish store, he said could be the GH. My GH is about 300+ ppm. Should I change 50% with RO water?
My tap and tank water GH is around 300ppm
Do I have to use RO water for weeky water change?
Please help
Thank you

Can we see the rest of your water parameters?

What kinds of plants are you trying to keep?

How long has the tank been set up for?

Fish? Inverts?

Photo period?

Are you feeding your plants? If so, what and how often?

It was set up 3 weeks ago, as people say my plants should be growing but it actually not
Im using Tap water.
20gal tank
Eco complete
Co2 1buble per sec
Finnex fugerage light
PH around 6.5
Im trying to keep my baby tear, hair grass, ( somebody call it monte carlo, idk).
The plants are turning yellow. Also green algae is growing so fast.
The picture was 2 days ago,
Other plants start to look like the yellow/brown one in the pic.
Most plants turning to that color

Also I use Seachem fert. Follow the calendar on website to dose.
There is one thing I did. I guess that could be the reason. My brother throw in my tank some Seachem GH equillibrium, which I think may also raise the GH more.
