ok so ive had this tank for about 2 months now, i do water changes bi-weekly with RO water from my LFS and i use flourish excel by seachem

i have a DIY CO2 with a ceramic diffuser

my lights are on 7hrs per day (dual 24" T5HO) one lifeglo and one powerglo bulbs

my water conditions are as follows:

GH = 180
KH = 50
pH = 7.0
NO2 = 0.5
NO3 = 20

I have 3 skunk loaches, 2 marble angels, 1 bushy nose pleco and some ghost shrimp (feeders)

plants: wisteria, java fern, java moss, micro sword

are my levels ok? low? high? which ones? what can i do if they are? etc.

newbie to hobby, newbie to testing, newbie all around with a low tech tank

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for help and advice, i want healthy fish and healthy plants, although lol I cant keep my wisteria from becoming a forest it seems, grows like its on roids!

Numbers look fine other then the NO2 = .5. Nitrite should bottom out to zero after the tank is fully established.

Not if you have a filter. Nitrite should be 0 in an establised tank.

Make sure to not rinse or worse replace all the media in your filter at once as it is the bacteria growing on and in the media that removes ammonia and nitrite, converting them to nitrate.

When you do rinse your media, do it in the aquarium water you are about to throw out, not tap water. This helps preserve the bacteria.
