Large Excel Dosing?

I have a 10 gal tank with 8 gal of water, doing EI fert dosing, what is the maximum amount of Excel I can dose daily? Could I do 8ml of Excel daily to try and increase CO2 as much as possible?

I'm hoping to max my CO2 without doing a pressurized or diy CO2 system.

I tried 2 ml dosing for several months, but it eventually started stunting my vals, causing them to shed leaves fairly rapidly. However, if you don't have vals or other plants sensitive to Excel, you can dose 5 ml, since most of us were using that much for start up dosage before learning that it was not a good idea. Higher than that is likely to lead to problems, in my opinion. It does kill things, you know.
