fishless tank

If you were dosing a tank that had no fish, would you change the dosing a lot vs a fish tank. I would assume so, but Im not sure how to adjust the dosage.

Part two of this post ;

I am currently dosing using EI with Seachem liquids--I want to change to dry ferts--do I need anything other than the following?

Barrs GH booster

The tanks are all low fish load, moderate plant load, and low light ( T8s in stock hoods ) I do have plans for a 50 gallon with NOT5s--that is why I am changing to the dry ferts.

I'd stick with IE and bump the CO2 to your heart's content and have high T5 lights.

But then you have fish and low light so............ what's the point again?

I have 3 tanks running right now, one of them has no fish and the plants are not doing great. I need to take a picture for plant ID as well as analysis of what may be missing.

I have plans for a 50 gallon with non HO T5 lights--the lights on the 50 gallon will still be less than 2 wpg so I dont think CO2 would be needed on it. I dont currently have any tanks with CO2.

I am not even sure if dosing ferts is needed in my tanks, they are low light with no CO2--they may do fine without it--I dunno.
