Old Metricide/Excel?

Some time ago (around 2 years I think, maybe more) I bought some metricide 14 as a gluteraldahyde additive, since it's cheaper than excel. Of course, I didn't go through a gallonish of the stuff as quick as I thought I would. So the question is: is it still OK to dose?

It was first opened around 2 years ago and has been dosed every now and then since that time. It has been stored with the cap on in a dry, dark cabinet the whole time and was only opened every month or so to fill up my dosing bottle.

Thanks!

Remember reading somewhere that it has a long shelf life of a few years or more, dont know for sure.

Ive used it over a year old and couldnt tell any difference. Stored as you describe I would imagine it's still fine.
