The indicator fluid in a drop checker is water (typically 4.0 dKH) and a few drops of bromothymol blue. Bromothymol blue is basically non-toxic unless you were to drink a lot of it. If the amount in a drop checker got into your tank it isn't a problem but I wouldn't make a habit of it.
won't be making a habit of it I ordered one of those glass ones that hang on side of the tank to prevent it happening again will be changing water as routine and not putting fish in for a while but was wondering if a 100% change and running carbon was needed thankfully it seems not. thanks guys
