Question Prime, Stability and "Fish In" Cycling

Recently a friend asked for help regarding a new fish tank. He was taken in by an LFS employee who basically send the guy home with a tank, filter and fish without a world about cycling and without a test kit. After a few days he decided to start asking me some questions so I immediately had him go out and get a bottle of Seachem Prime, a bottle of Seachem Stability and an API Master Freshwater Test kit.

His ammonia test reads 1 ppm, his ph is 7.8 and his temp is 75. Using this chart here it shows that he's in the yellow zone as far as free ammonia. I advised an immediate water change (no ammonia, nitrites or nitrates in his tap water) but I have a question.

If he using Prime daily to bind the ammonia until his tank cycles (using Stability) will the bound ammonia still be sufficient to feed the beneficial bacteria?

Any thoughts or opinions would be most welcome. Thank you!
