Transitioning 10g plastic to 29g planted.

As the title says I’m in the middle of moving tanks and there are a few things I’m wondering. Namely, should I give my plants a few weeks to root in? I have corys is mainly what’s leaning me towards just letting the plants grow a while, also I’m currently treating the 10g for velvet so it’ll be at least 2 weeks before I can move the fish anyways.

Another thing I’m thinking about is what other fish to get that won’t bother the plants? (Of course I’ll be waiting til the velvet is gone)

Just any advice in general is welcome, this is my first foray into planted aquariums.

Fish:
x1 Honey Gourami
x5-6 Corydora
x11 Neons

Plants:
Amazon sword
Jungle Val
Dwarf Sagg
Crypt. Wendtii (red?)
Crypt. Lucens
Anubias nana petite
Rotala (Indica?)

Dragon stone Hardscape
Substrate is fluorite dark topped with fluorite black sand
Light is marineland modular LED
30g hang on back and 20g hang on back, and will be moving my 10g sponge filter(20g pump) over when I move the fish
