Leaves turning yellow

I have some crypts in my tank that has some of its leaves turning yellow. Seems like new growth is the only ones. All parameters are fine but I am a month in on the cycle. I don’t really have a good light yet still using the LEDs that came with it from Walmart. I dose fluval plus once a week. Not sure what the problem is need advice

You need a better light.

Also its pretty common for crypts to experience "melt" where the leaves on the plant turn to mush. New growth will come in looking nice if you have the right conditions (in a low tech tank like yours that means light and nutrients).

The fluval is a nice light but since you are not running co2 you shouldn't try running it full blast. Definitely turn it down a bit in intensity and keep your lighting period to no more then 6-7 hours max to start. There are lots of threads on lighting profiles for that light so definitely check those out.
