Java fern new leaves - dark tips

Java fern in a non co2 tank for more than 6 months now. It shed a lot of leaves as it got adjusted into this setup. There have been no new leaves in this non co2 setup.

Recently I added diy co2 with a reactor setup. The java fern is starting to send new leaves possibly every 1-2 weeks now. These are new leaves from the rhizome. They start as a bud from the rhizome, grow into a stick like thing and then they open up in a day or two. Itís nice to see them growing.

The only problem is that the tips of these new leaves are dark green whereas the rest of the new leaf itself is a nice light green. Wanted to understand if this is normal or there is some kind of an imbalance.

Decent lights medium to high, Co2 is on 1 bubble per 3 seconds, Dosing local available brand of ferts macros and micros on alternate days. Weekly 50% water change and adding iron post the water change.
