Chihiros rgb vivid problems

Anyone using the RGB vivid?

With mine, only one fan is working... and itís kinda pulsating in intensity at a rate of every 10 - 20 seconds it ramps up and down.

I didnít notice if the second fan maybe only comes on once the light reaches a certain temp? This AM My light has only been on for a little while so maybe itíll kick on later, Iím not sure... but it doesnít seem right

Efficient cooling with two variable-timing fans . Thanks to the timing, the fans are quiet!

Not sure what they mean by this..
Sounds like the control circuit failed..

W/ luck just a simple thermister..

How hot is the top when running?

Lol sorry, being that the light is brand new Iím not so familiar with it yet...

But anyway, I built a custom mount for it, and I assume when I was making adjustments after the initial set up, I over tightened a screw which ended up binding the fan....very tight tolerances lol.

As soon as I took care of this... the pulsating stopped too. Must be some sensors in there trying to alter voltage to start up a fan when itís not running or something.

But itís not Something that someone else is likely to run in to

Thanks.. Guess it's good to know it wasn't really the unit itself..
