DUH! I just figured it out. Sorry. So obvious too. You turn off them both so you can disconnect the hose .

Hello. Hooking up my Netlea no. 2v filter and just super curious why the outlet has two connectors. A standard and a “quick connect”. Wouldn’t redundant?
