Plants I haven't had plants in the tank in about 8-9 months, but in the last month or so small plants have started to grow on their own in some areas of the bottom and on the red volcanic rock in the middle.
Inhabitants 1 Golden Wonder Killiefish, 1 Dalmatian Mollie and 1 Albino frog, 1 White tip pleco and a boat load of tiny tiny snails.
Comments I put a Light up clock behind the tank to give it a nice look at night. There is a small glass at the bottom, which has a slow bubble stream inside for the frog so it does not need to swim to the top every time it needs air. It seems to spend a lot of time in there. Really like this set up, but need to upgrade these guys to a bigger tank soon. I'm some what new to this, any tips would be great.

Fish need 8 to 10 hours of total darkness every night or they can start getting stressed out which can then cause diseases. The light up clock could cause problems.

Thanks, I'm aware of this. I normally Only leave the light (clock) on for a small amount of time at night. These guys usually have plenty of darkness at night.

The rocks are nice and even one plant, fake or real, will give your fish a hiding place and a sense of security! I bet the frog would love a real plant! Small tanks are great and I get some good ideas from pictures of tanks on here!
