Date Started February 13th, 2008
Lighting DIY setup: 84 watts of normal output T5 under Tek II reflectors.
Equipment Rena XP1 canister filter, Hydor 200w inline heater.
CO2 Pressurized CO2 diffused through a Hagen Elite Mini internal filter.
Substrate Soilmaster Select, charcoal color.
Parameters 78 degrees. That's all I've checked. :]
Fertilization No ferts yet. Have bulk ferts I'm going to mix and dose soon.
Plants Anubias nana, Anubias petite, Stargrass, Blyxa japonica, Sunset hygro, Ludwigia repens, Crypt willisii, Crypt wendtii, Crypt spiralis, Java fern and Windelov, unidentified mosses, and what I think is dwarf sag.
Inhabitants 5 coral red pencilfish, 11 rummynose tetra, 4 ottos, 2 siamese algae eaters, snails.
Comments This is my first tank since the childhood fish keeping days. So far it's been a lot of fun to work on.

* A real beauty & one of my very favorite tanks. Impressive diversity of plants and color. Very good water movement and clarity. Very nicely photographed too. Could perhaps benefit from some bolder hardscape (large rock or driftwood?). A bit ungroomed in these pics, but so striking I wish it was my wallpaper.*
