update day 5 and no algae glosso and riccia are exploding with new growth had to increase co2 to 15 bps and increased pps pro dosing to 2x normal to keep up with growth still no signs of algae at this rate it will fully carpeted by the end of the cycle
thats funny but yeah the par is ridiculously high. I just wanted to get the glosso to carpet quickly that way when the cycle is done I can add the shrimp. Yeah needless to say the tank light goes off at bedtime otherwise my wife would kill me lol. I notice more and more grow each day I will add some more pics and post them in my profile. Glosso is carpeting rather nicely. I amazed that i have not encountered a big algae outbreak. Although i have the co2 at 15 bps and I am overdosing excel also not for the co2 but because it seems to kill or prevent most algae types.
