2 Whisper 5-15 powerfilters (higher flow for the danios as well as the hillstream loach I used to have, Kribs seem to enjoy it as well)- no carbon just floss and ceramic and sponge bio media, 50W heater, and 2 stock All-Glass 18" T8 hoods (to get 30watts I added the old one from my other 10 gal. when I got a new compact fluorescent- awkward, but it works!)

A pair of Kribensis (pelvicachromis pulcher), 4 zebra danios, 1 leopard danio, trumpet snails, and ramshorn snails

This tank had been designed around my breeding pair of Kribs! Like so many cichlids, they ate their first batch of eggs, but the female looks ready to lay again any day- very fat and crimson and I have caught her bending her belly in front of the male!
