I just thought, I wonder what purple bamboo would look like in here?

Wow, beautiful!!!

I agree, the new door is awesome, VERY nicely done, how did you make it? Are the pieces you've added (bottom bit and door) glass or plexi/lexan? My boyfriend got me an exoterra for chrismukah (that christmas + chanukah ) and I'm thinking of trying to extend the height because my crested gecko is an arboreal species and I want to do a water feature but right now there isn't enough vertical height, so I'd love to get some input on what materials etc. you used. And how you made it look so darn good wiht such clean lines!

Thanks. I used glass, silicone, and some 49cent acrylic hinges. It is a regular aquarium stood up on one end. Oh, and I just got an exo today in the mail it's the 24x24x18 one 42-44 gallons

Ignore the stickers holding the door closed while I'm gone.
Darn cats

This creeping fig grows slowwww. I took the moss out because it got way too thick and got some kind of slime mold in it. Now I only have to mist like once a week.

Hey that looks good. Are you going to drop it in the mail just like that? Shouldn't you unplug it first?
