What did you make the walls out of? Is there any thing else besides the tokay, like in the water? Looks good! what size is it?

I didn't know there was such a thing. Nasty, bitey little buggers.

Does the gecko stay always in? Mine roamed a much wider temperature-dependent range, within a room.

Haha, EVERYONE on any site I posted pics on thinks its a 55, when in actuallity its a 30.

Yeah, If you give um time and work with them, Tokays calm down rather nicely. The one in the pic is still a bit fiesty but she hasn't bitten in over a year.

So far only the one gecko calls the viv home. I'm excited to add some native fish, but first I'll need a heater casue my old one fried itself. Other possible addtions may be a male tokay, a flying gecko, a draco lizard, or a white lipped tree frog.

The walls are made out of Touch'N Foam, which is like Great Stuff only better cause it comes in black and is plant/animal safe! After it cured, I carved it down, smeared it with aquarium silicone and pressed bone dry peat into it. If you would like any more details, just let me know. ~ Rex

Wow that's neat looking!

But isn't there a danger of the gecko drowning? Also won't Tokay's eat pretty much any other animal it can fit in it's mouth?
