looking for ideal 10gal inhabitant(s)

what animal(s) would you suggest for a ten gallon. i have excperience with lizards, but not with anything difficult (i have had a leopard gecko in a desert terrarium for a few years).

fire belly newt are very easy to keep.........and are sutible for 10 gallons

i dont think they would work. im looking for a true terrarium inhabitant (not paludarium; i will have no water feature except for a water bowl).
