need air plant (tillandsia) help

which kind of air plant would you reccomend for a 20 gal with 70 watts over it?
how often should i mist/dunk it?

Not a big fan of the tillandsia, but a couple nice bromeliads would make for some nice air plants in a 20 gallon.

i thought tillandsia were a type of bromeliad (a houseplant book i have described them as such). no, i dont have substrate, nor will i put it. it is a desert terrarium with a leopard gecko. i need some plants that dont need much watering or can be dumped in a bowl of water once a week. i have two succulents, but i want something that wont have a pot (im running out of slate to hide the pot with). i cant put substrate all over the cage since leos have a tendancy to try and eat it and get impacted as a result.

Well I don't believe tillandsia fare well in the dry conditions succulents and cacti do. Granted they don't need high humidity, but they'd probably need to be dunked 3 or so times a week.
