Algae Grower

Here's a bunch of pictures. I started Tuesday November 6th. And I'm still working on it.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And Today : ![]() I still have to add trim to the top. Paint it. Order my misting heads. Get 2 10k bulbs. Get glass tops, to keep in the frogs, and humidity. Frogs, AND Plants! I think that's it. I probably forgot 20 things, like always! I hope you all enjoy.

It's tough work. I'm in the middle of getting some different substrate, the flourite was a big mistake. :P
I'm going to get black sand, or Aquasoil, instead.

very cool set up. Why do you think the flourite was a bad choice? i'm moving from planted tanks and just trying to find out the different demands a tank like this requires.

Well, the flourite gave the water that brown tinge color, and it never seemed to go away. Every single time I'd even touch the substrate, a huge mushroom cloud of dust would leech into the water, and last for days.
Yes I rinsed it first.
