Algae Grower

I have just recently completed my most recent vivarium, and have documented the entire project. So I figured I'd share with anyone interested.
Here's the link... http://badmanstropicalfish.com/vivarium/vivarium.html ~Pat

there is a false bottom holding the substrate up between 1-2" above the water. There is a pump underneath that brings the water to the top of the fall where it flows back to the main pool. So yes, water fills the entire bottom of the tank under the substrate, about 3.5 gallons I believe

Actually, I never found any info online either. I've talked and emailed a couple people who are keeping an breeding them, so here are my findings...
They have similar needs as other tree frogs such as red eyes, whites, etc. Humidity levels are a pretty big debate no matter what you're keeping. Some people say lower (50%) humidity and only bring it up when breeding while others say an 70-80% is more suitable. Their staple food, as with most tree frogs would be crickets with a calcium or other supplement powder. Temps should be high 70's to low 80's during the day and shouldn't go below the low 70's to high 60's at night. In the wild they breed in water-filled holes in tree trunks, which can be simulated with a waterdish under some cork bark tubes. I've also heard that a well planted tank is a must or they will get stressed out. that's all I can think of at the moment, but if you have any more Q's drop me an email at pathockey777@aol.com and I'll try to answer them. Hope that helps, ~Pat
