New to Viv/Paludriums ... need ideas

Hi ... old-time aquariest, new to this side of the hobby.

My wife is a 7th grade science teacher and is interested in setting up a "river" tank in her class. I'm looking for some ideas (pictures) of paludriums (around 50/50 water/land) for a 29 gallon tank.

Also, is there a good publication that gives a step-by-step blow on how to construct these? I've seen all kinds of threads, but was hoping for a concise one-stop-shopping guide.

Thanks

I liked this design the best and scaled it down to a ten gallon.

This is going to be a 20 high, not 29 gallon. Need ideas for NON-tropical plants and animals (amphibians and fish) plus a water object. This is for a classroom so she needs non-poisonous things.

Thanks

Mine is a 25 gal high- I have anoles, treefrogs, firebelly newts, and white cloud minnows.

Why non tropical plants? Most household plants are of tropical origin.
