I think I'm going to have to do one of these. I don't have any aquariums upstairs due to the fear of it falling through the floor, but this shouldn't be so heavy

I like the idea of not having a water feature. Thats what really turned me off, was having to keep fish in like 5 gal of water(I know I don't HAVE to keep fish, but it seems like it would see boring without it).

Time to show this to the wife.
(except this post, of course)

I've had ficus fill in one side of my viv wall and it looks awesome, adds a lot of depth to the tank. New scape looks great!

cant decide if i like the old or new scape better. i think the first looks a little more natural but the second seems a little more open with more viewing space. either way, it looks freaking sweet man. ive been wantin to set up a dart frog tank for a while now, i think it would be sweet to have a bunch of aquatic mosses growing emersed like you have and it looks so dang natural.

im such a noob to dart frogs though id have to read up a ton before doin anything lol. do you use RO water? how do you even get that stuff? can you handle the frogs at all?

tank looks sweet and nice lookin frogs.

I also think the greatest factor contributing to your viv's appeal is your ability to avoid haphazardly stuffing tons of plant varieties in there. It looks very clean... and when the new scape fills in and matures it will look really slick.

Impressive original and re-scape.

I like what you're doing with the aquarium as well.

That is the most natural looking setup I've ever seen! I bet the frogs love searching through the leaves for their food... great setup.
