You can space them as little as an inch apart. Although....I crammed like six in one space, lol. Don't recommend this. I like the new look. This will look cool once it grows in.

Sometimes the moss will take a while to attach itself. Don't give up if it takes a month.

ok now I'm starting to like it. needs a little trim but wow what a dif.
you can't tell by watching things everyday. It's when you go back and look at pics from when you started, that you see how far it's gone.

still can't get rid of this cloud! Algae bloom.

do I really need to run co2 on such a low light tank?
I'm running 1 power-glo 18,000k 40w in a stock fixture.
and a zoo med reef sun 50/50 32w
= 1.3 wpg

I'm thinking there's too much unstable co2.

Finally I got it clear. well for the most part. it's better than I've ever seen it. too much ferts and weak on the iron. upped the light to 1.3wpg and dropped the co2.

Nice! It looks as though it's growing in for you and creating the right effect.

Trimming the moss is vital with moss trees.

My friend made one, and it looks damn fine.
Just that if algae hits it, that will be the biggest PITA ever.
