10 Gallon Guppy Tank

This tank obviously needs some work, but before anything, it will be getting new lights, and probably a few filter. It's very overstocked, and can only get worse, but with plenty of water changes, and me probably selling some of the fish in the future, I'm not going to worry about it just yet.

Equipment:
10 Gallon AGA tank (20x10x12)
50 watt Tronic heater
~10 pds estes aquarium gravel
Marineland biowheel 125
2 25 watt incandescent lights (not much, I know, but not top of my list)

Floura:
2 Amazon swords
1 melon sword
a couple contortunist vals
dwarf sag
anubias nana
red tiger lotus
floating stuff (duckweed, frogbit, I can't tell)
Crypt wendtii 'bronze'

Fauna:
~30 guppies (you try and count them)
1 pygmy cory
1 julii cory (these 2 were handoffs from a friend of mine, haven't found more of either yet)
1 very fat oto

you can hugely boost how nice your tank looks by changing the lights. back before i recently did a huge change on my tank, i had the same lighting as you, due to ignorance, i didn't know i thought i was doomed with incandescants forever. Then i realized you can get self balasted compact flourescents that fit in the same slot, and now i can grow nicer plants and the tank's a lot brighter

I know, I want to change the lights, but there, I've been meaning to in fact. This tank was recently gifted to me by a friend who was moving and could no longer keep it. Before I get to far into it, I was trying to get the easy things done, like getting a different filter, and probably changing out the gravel for something more plant friendly, and then worrying about the lights. Then real light come in! But, it may be a bit before that just yet. I have a few other tanks I'm trying to regain control of first.

lol, cich, I think so. Hehe, came with the tank. Makes a nice hiding spot for the cories and guppy fry in the tank.
